Administrative Manager
A successful Investment Management firm located in Boston is looking to bring on an Administrative Manager to their team! My client is specifically seeking candidates with a background in Hospitality, who are looking to transition their career. As the Administrative Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of 30+ administrative professionals, and assist with hiring, training, coaching, and the development of support staff.
Responsibilities:
- Recruiting & Hiring
- Assist with creating job descriptions & interview process
- Source candidates, gather feedback & make hiring recommendations
- Assist with onboarding new hires
- Performance Management
- Construct feedback & manage the process
- Track attendance, coordinate leaves and other work interruptions
- Determine compensation decisions
- Training & Coaching
- Provide ongoing learning opportunities to promote employee engagement and potential career advancement
- Deliver training on new technologies and procedures
- Moral & Team Building
- Implement team building activities
- Resource Management & Admin Management
- Evaluate staffing needs
- Ensure adequate back-up and cross training
- Business Operations
- Foster Constructure relationships with stakeholders and firm leadership
- Coordination of general management processes across business units including, budgets, business continuity planning, real estate, and visitor management
- Represent administrative management and participate in various initiatives and projects across the firm
Qualifications:
- Undergrad degree required
- 3-7 years of experience with direct personnel management of a large population (30+ individuals) preferably within a professional services or Hospitality environment
- Outstanding soft skills; written and oral communication, relationship management, emotional intelligence, conflict resolution
- Must be onsite 3 days/week
